Do attendees need accounts?
No. Registration, RSVPs, and surveys are public forms — no logins or passwords between your guests and the yes.
What does check-in look like?

How do payments work?
Paid registrations run through your public forms with payment status on each record. Your plan’s percentage — 2% on Pay As You Go down to 0.25% on Scale — applies only to paid registration volume and replaces the general platform fee; verified tax-exempt organizations on a paid plan pay 0%. Processor rates pass through, and free events never carry a fee.

Free events are free on every plan. Pay As You Go is $0/month + 2% of paid registrations; Pro is $99 + 1%; Growth is $249 + 0.5%; Scale is $499 + 0.25% — with unlimited users and your first published website included on paid plans. Do we have to use the AI?
No — AI in Simply Events is optional and off until you switch it on; the product is complete without it. If you try it, your team approves anything it proposes, and people still take the conversations that matter with attendees, sponsors, and vendors.
